Making Videos On The Net – Free Video Training By Andy Jenkins

Making Videos On The Net - Free Video Training by Andy Jenkins

Making Videos on the Net

If you want to know how to go about making videos on the net, here’s how!  Follow a free video training series by uber cool Video Boss Andy Jenkins. Simply submit your email address is all you need to do to get instant access to the first training video.

I found out about this because my mentor, Steve, kicked off on a rant to the troops about the misconceptions people have about using videos to market on the internet. You know, such things as – “Video is too hard, Video is too expensive, Video is too difficult…” and so on.

Now if you are awake today, you may notice that my blog is a video-free zone and the reason for that is simple. I’m a scaredy cat. The above statements rattle round my brain daily and I have to admit that I am scared of net technology.

Fortunately for me, these are some of the things Andy Jenkins talks about in the first video – and he hammers his points home in a very unique style.

It actually made me feel like I CAN do it too!

In case you have never heard of Andy Jenkins, he is the Video King of the internet. He has nailed video marketing and does a great job of teaching others through his own inimitable style! (I am not an affiliate – I just love cool free training).

The first part of the video is a little confusing (at least it was to me – but the graphics are great!) and he then walked through some of the amazing ventures he has been involved in and some of the incredible results he got.

What happens next is something you don’t want to miss – unless you intend to commit marketing suicide in your internet business over the coming years.

He goes on to reveal some of the tools and techniques he personally uses to create his own marketing videos and the most surprising thing of all is that some of them may already be installed on your own computer!

He also does a fun job of picking apart a couple of amateur videos on Youtube and reveals the surprising results and rankings they have on Google – aka first page!

I thought this was well worth the time I invested today and I am looking forward to part 2. You never know, I might actually be able to put some of it into practice and produce my own video!

Let me know what you think on the comments below – and also share any hot tips you might have for us techno-phobes.

Have a great day y’all!

Free Dan Kennedy Renegade Millionaire Training Videos

As promised, here is the other incredibly helpful video tutorials I happened along recently.

This is a shout for anyone who has ever had trouble with marketing, selling or building a customer base.

It’s also an essential if you are in need of some advice on how to grow your business, or  if you fancy making a million or two.

Called Renegade Millionaire video series, there are four free videos Dan Kennedy is releasing and having just sat through the first two,  all I can say is WOW!

That man certainly knows how to pack a punch with words and I guarantee you will be left open-mouthed with the gems he lets loose all the way through.  I have learnt more about how to approach new customers and  build a list in the last couple of hours than in any of my previous coaching sessions put together.

In the first video, Dan outlines the mistakes that most people in business make from the get-go  ie, pushing their product, idea, service, or whatever, onto their prospective customer or client.  He shows why the number one mistake is to focus on what WE have to offer and present that to the customer to buy.

He then goes on to present what the better alternative is – and I am not going to spoil things by telling you what it is! You will have to find out for yourself.

He also unveils his 3 step formula that has helped him grow many multi-million dollar businesses.

The entry point to the video is via your email address (of course!), but it is top quality teaching and I thoroughly recommend it.

You then get access to video 2.  Be warned:

In the event that you deliberately wander into that space, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A PEN AND NOTEBOOK WITH YOU!

I stop/started that video so much, I wanted to capture and think about everything Dan Kennedy was saying. At the end of this 2nd video, you will understand WHY he has earnt the right to teach clueless newbies (like me) who have a hankering for a better life.

Of course, he mentions that he has a marketing reason for releasing this video series, but it isn’t revealed just yet, so in the meantime, revel in the great teaching.

For now, I won’t hold you up any longer.  Go make yourself a coffee, gather up your gear and head on over to here.

Let me know what you think.

The Cloud – What’s It Good For and How Does It Work?

The Cloud - What's It Good For and How Does It Work?

This new thing called ‘The Cloud’ – what’s it good for and how does it Work? Although being a ‘little bit’ technologically challenged, I don’t like to be left behind when supposedly new stuff starts surfacing. Having heard about the Cloud, I was interested enough to ask my husband (usually the fount of computer knowledge) what it was all about and how it worked.

He surprised me by his total lack of interest in the subject, (maybe because he works on computer systems every day?) so I had to hunker down and do some digging for myself. Here’s what I found out.

The Cloud – What’s It Good For and How Does It Work?

The first thing that surprised me was to find out that the cloud is not new at all – it has been around for several years and has just been repackaged and rebranded (those canny big businesses – ever an eye for new business!) In fact, you may be using the cloud computing services without even knowing anything about it or how it works.

I am! I found out that accessing my Gmail account through a web browser is using a cloud service. The software isn’t on my hard drive – it’s on a web server. As long as there is an internet service, I’m good to go. Very clever! The great thing about the cloud is that you can find a lot of services out there for free.

Another thing I discovered was that using the Cloud computing services frees up my laptop storage. Instead of having to download everything I buy to my pc, there are some websites that will store the information for me. All I have to do is visit the membership page and log-in using my username and password.

Personally, I like the option of downloading my products, but at least I know how to avoid overload for future reference if storage becomes a problem.

I also found out that using the cloud is great news for me as a business owner. It seems that there are cloud-based office services on the internet that will store project information and documents so that anyone, anywhere, can access them via the web. That means you don’t get held up because you’re not in the office where the computer is. You can actually bring the office to the shop-floor. Brilliant concept!

I was a bit worried about the safety aspect of storing sensitive or personal info, and to be honest, you can’t odds it – there are always going to be hackers wanting to be a nuisance. The trick is to have a really strong password (lots of Upper case letters and a couple of numbers littered about the password) and make sure everything is backed up somewhere.

Since keeping up with technology is essential for any business owner, I was quite impressed and plan to sign up for a free service and see how it goes. I have a pc monitor plugged into my laptop (great for all the training I am doing) so unplugging everything is a bit of a hassle. I love the idea of using my little netbook in the kitchen when I am cooking, or on the sofa if I want to chill out and listen in to a training instead of staying sat at a desk.

If you feel a bit overwhelmed with all the new technology, it probably means that you aren’t keeping up-to-date with your online education. My advice is to do something about it now so that you can keep abreast of changes – you don’t want to wake up one day and be suddenly swamped, so check this out today and let me know what you think.

Will let you know how things pan out! I hope you now know a little bit about the Cloud – what’s it good for and how it works!

Making soap at home – will making soap be a good business to start at home? Smart question and something I thought worth investigating.

Making Soap

Making Soap

Thanks to rampant technology, internet techies seem to get all the good breaks lately, but do they have to have all the good businesses as well? Having seen a sample soap making video recently, I decided to find out if it is a good home based business to research.

There are any number of home business ideas floating around, but the trick is to be unique.  What I discovered during my research gave me some pretty nifty notions about how easy it is to be unique in the soap making niche.

So craft based person, will making soap be a good business to start at home?  Will it earn you a good living and keep your enthusiasm alive?  Well, here’s what I found out about making soap at home:

1)    Thousands of people around the globe are interested in making soap.  Seriously!  Using Google keywords to do some research, I was astounded at the sheer number of people seeking information in the soap making arena.  It’s eye-opening.  Check it out for yourself!

2)    Surprisingly, making soap is only one factor the creative person can get involved in. You can let your imagination run riot with colours, shapes, sizes, fragrances, and all different types of soaps and when you get fed up with one batch, simply rinse and repeat (pardon the pun!)

3)    There is more to making soap than meets the eye.  It is essential to know what you are doing so that you get the correct mix of ingredients that are safe and non-toxic for your customers.  There are a number of inexpensive guides to teach you the ‘how-tos’ of soap making

if you are interested to learn as a hobby, but for a home business you will also need to know such things such as: -

* legal requirements for everyday soap
* Know about soap certification
* understand the chemical analysis and right balance of ingredients
* learn the best quantities of oils and fats in your soap.

For those seriously wondering if soap making will be a good business to start at home, my advice would be to research a college course.  I was amazed at the low cost a soap making courses was -well within a business start-up budget.  The indepth training covering just about every aspect of soap making actually made me want to drop everything and sign up!

4)    Who can do it?  Just about anybody who loves working with their hands and natural products.  It would be good to get medical advice if you are prone to allergies, since you will be working with herbs, spices, fragrances, oils and flowers.

5)    Anything else involved?  As I mentioned before, making soap is only one aspect of this remarkable home business idea. The truly creative person can unleash their inner flair on soap gift baskets, soap containers, soap packaging and soap labels!

6)    Having gone to all the trouble of researching whether making soap is a good business to start at home, don’t fall at the final hurdle.  The marketing of your product is crucial.  Don’t let your wonderful designs fall by the wayside because you can’t sell them.  You need to find the right market and the right customer.

Basically, if you have a Facebook account – you have a web presence and don’t need a website or blog. If you don’t have the technical know how – you can find out very easily here.

With over 750 million users worldwide, it would be worthwhile investing in some basic training to learn how to sell and attract new customers.  It is a valuable free tool that thousands are using to build their business.

I hope my article has helped you to decide if making soap at home will be a good business to start at home.

Branding Yourself In Your Online Business – 4 Simple Steps

Branding Yourself

Branding Yourself

Do you go crazy at the thought of branding yourself in your online business?  Would you rather hide behind your website than suffer the toe-curling process of revealing yourself to prospective customers?  Well, fear ye not! Here are 4 simple steps to branding yourself online!

Although it may seem an attractive prospect to hide behind your website, did you know that staying anonymous means that you’ll remain that way – anonymous?  People simply won’t know who they are relating to, so will probably move onto someone a bit more welcoming.  If you don’t know where to start in branding yourself in your online business – here are 4 simple steps to set you on your way:

1)    If you are fearful – identify the reason why.  What do you hate so much about the branding process that it makes you simply want to hide?  The whole knub of marketing and branding yourself online is to take something unique about you, and simply learn the process of getting yourself known in an interesting way.

2)    Move up a gear!  Once you know what the hold-up is,  do something about it (you’ll be glad you did!) Maybe invest in some training to overcome the problem.  If you lack confidence in yourself or your product, educate yourself more so that you concentrate on the benefits of your product – then it will instil confidence in your brand.  Also, focusing on the problem the product solves is one of the key features to major on.

3) Try something new!  If you get strung up with marketing because you don’t want to have to face the customer head on – try something new.  For instance:  why not brand yourself on video? Make a video of what you want to say using the written word and do a voice over (or get someone else to do it for you). Upload it to a video provider and let it work for you 24/7.  All you have to do is use the free marketing methods to give your customer the link and the deed is done!  You are branded online without ever having to speak a word.

4) Use Fiverr. Every job placed on Fiverr costs $5, so why not use it to your advantage?  It has never been easier to brand yourself on line by hiring someone else to contact your customers for you.  Simply prepare a message and a list of phone numbers, work out how much you want to spend and then get weaving.

For example:  if you have $15 available, sign up to Fiverr and place a bid by saying something like: “I will pay you $5 to contact 15 people on my list via Skype.” (or call – if it’s in the free local area). If you hired 3 people,  45 new customers will have been contacted that day. Have some specific instructions handy together with the script – and you can leave the branding to Fiverr!

So there you have it – 4 simple steps to branding yourself in your online business.

Of course, there is a lot more involved to branding than simply following 4 steps, but it is a start! To get your online branding to the stratosphere, go here now. iMMACC knows how to develop ordinary, everyday people into online business superstars, so what are you waiting for?   Don’t forget – “You’re worth it!”  (Which brand is that?)   I hope you have enjoyed branding yourself in your online business – 4 simple steps.

Over 50 And Looking for work? Feast Your Eyes On This!

Looking for work at any age these days can be very frustrating – let alone if you happen to fall into the over 50s bracket.  So what can you do to help yourself to a new job if you happen to be a Baby Boomer?  Is it as tough as everyone makes out? If you are over 50 and looking for work – feast your eyes on this!

Although I know looking for work is tough, there are definitely things you can do to help yourself to a new career if you are over 50.  Ok, it’s fair to say that not everyone is excited about the prospect of finding a new job, but many are forced into this decision through influences outside of their control.

So, if you are over 50 and looking for work, feast your eyes on these tips:

  • Only apply for jobs that you are fit enough to do. Be honest with yourself. Sometimes we are desperate when looking for work and will plump for anything, but it’s barmy to apply for jobs that you don’t have a hope of fulfiling.  For instance, if you have a back situation going on and the job you are considering involves some form of lifting, not only do you risk injuring yourself further, you also risk frustrating your employers (and colleagues) by not carrying out your job properly.
  • Work with what you’ve got!  If your hair is grey, highlight it.  If your wardrobe is looking a tad dowdy, hit the charity shops and have a blast!  Appearance has a huge impact on prospective employers and since you don’t always have to put your age on a resume – keep them guessing!
  • Emphasize the benefits you can bring to the company instead of focusing on all the jobs you have done in your life.  Employers are only interested in increasing their company profits and therefore need to know why you are the best choice.  Put yourself out there and tell them why you will be one of their most valuable assets.
  • Plug in to evolving technology and social media. You may be over 50, but it will not only open you up to different types of work (virtual assistant, social media assistant, email responder, article writer etc) it will also increase your ability to start your own business from home.

Not everyone over the age of 50 is doomed to work for others!  Some super-smart, savvy people are finding out how they can make the internet work for them in a way that brings them more life choices.

If you want to know how you can earn your own wealth and utilize the internet for profit, go here now.  You may just nail yourself your next job!

Business At Home – Three Simple Businesses To Start Today

Starting a work-at-home-business doesn’t have to be hard, so to help get your creative juices flowing, here are three simple businesses to start today.

If your particular skills don’t involve a computer, what are your options?  What else can you do?   What simple offline businesses can you can start today?   Connected to the right money making concept and with a small time or money  investment, you can start immediately.

So what work at home business should you start?  Here are my three simple businesses to start today:

1)  Home Stitch Biz.   This offline business is great  if you are expert with a needle and thread. Use your experience to earn extra money by offering a service providing alterations, repairs, curtains, craft objects, wedding outfits, costumes, fancy-dress, children’s party, or go into specialist sewing for handicapped and plus sized needs.

2) Mobile Ironing. This is a great business at home money maker. Swathes of busy women loathe ironing shirts and since  there is often a requirement to work in smart suits, there is a gap in the market for you to fill!

Simply choose the number of hours you will work and start looking for customers.  Decide whether you will work the business from your house (they bring the ironing to you) or at your customer’s house.  Choose your payment options, either by the basket (small, medium, large)  by weight, or by the hour. The customer pays when they collect. Word of mouth will roll, so  be ready to employ others to help you!

3)  Product Rental Biz!  People are realizing they can rent items instead of buying them and this is a simple offline business at home.  You don’t have to unload unwanted gear onto eBay – use it to help others!  Folks don’t always want to go to the added expense of storing or buying extra kit for their ski or staycation holiday, so you can meet their need!

Simply group your products into categories – e.g.   fashion, electronic, disability, bikes,  etc – take an inventory, photograph the objects and start advertising.  Choose whether the cost will be hourly  (water-skis, off-road bikes etc), daily or weekly.  Check out other rental agreements so that you can put together your own, and decide on a deposit amount.

Products such as carpet cleaners, snow-clearing machines and gardening equipment are always popular, but remember to monetize on the area in which you live.  Eg –   If you live near a lake or the sea, offer your boat and fishing tackle  for one or two day weekend specials.

With all these simple at home businesses, don’t forget to test your service or product in the area in which you live.  Also, create a business plan to keep your sense of direction and continually flag up to the right customer base.  If you can, connect yourself to others  who  have  gone  before  and  know a thing or two about   monetizing your business.  I hope you have enjoyed ‘Business at home – three simple businesses to start today’.
